SEDIA 1—AUTOPROGETTAZIONE
Built entirely from a discarded pallet using only hand tools, this chair is a direct interpretation of Enzo Mari’s Autoprogettazione principles. The project explores the tension between system and improvisation: each part is cut and assembled following Mari’s open-source logic, but the material rough, uneven, already marked by use introduces a degree of unpredictability that becomes part of the design. Visible markings were intentionally preserved, not as decoration, but as traces of process a visual score of making. The result is both functional and honest.
